Problems with 1997 Lo Pro trem...

The B-string keeps breaking when I pull up on the bar, despite my tech having the saddle checked out for kinks...

Any ideas as to what is causing this problem?

Where does the string break at?

The string breaks just near the saddle, about 0.5cm to about 1.0cm from the actual locking block thingy.

What gauge string do you use? And which B string? 7th string?

the 2nd string - I use 9-42s

Swap that saddle with one of the others and see if the breaking string follows the saddle.
