Question about JEM celebration models!

Im curious: When Hoshino created all those 90th Jemīs and 10th anniversary models, did they have somekind of special selection going on about woods, that they are made of, or are they just regular stuff?

I think the wood was all pretty run of mill, nothing special. The JS Chromeboys were made of Luthite I believe, but those aren't Jems so it doesn't really matter.
