Re: Question about JEM77BRMR

If it was under the pickguard you'd never see it, it's a mirrored guard

Hopefully you folks don't mind me showing her??

If so, it'll go into hiding never to be seen again
I myself don't mind, can't speak for other people here though. Personally, it would be devastating not to see your VRMR ever again.

Re: Question about JEM77BRMR

I absolutely LOVE what you've done with this Jem, and really appreciate your pics. I'm also very interested in your thoughts about it, in terms of tone and playability, particularly in comparison to your other Jems (hoping you can compare it to a 7VWH, since that's what I have). Thanks!

Re: Question about JEM77BRMR

Yep, I CAN compare it.

I like it better (oh...get's flamed )

The neck is a bit thinner (DBK style) but it's really nice.

The Breeds totaly RULE!!! Maybe it's just because they are in the BRMR w/ the mirror finish and binding??? I don't know because I do not have experience with the breeds other than this guitar, but I've heard a lot of negative input towards them.

I like them better than the EVO's and PAF's. The tone and sustain is brilliant!! I have 6 Jems and this one has the best tone of all of them!!

It's a sweet guitar all the way around. Only drawback is it's a little heavier
Plus you gotta wipe it down after every session. Or at least I do.

Bottom line. My vwh sits in it's case and this one gets played!! Love the tone AND the neck.

So there ya go

Maybe Steve / Ibanez weren't so far off in producing this thing.

If they'd of had the vine in it, they'd have sold a plethora more of these things! And that's a GUARANTEE!!!

Just waiting for some pictures of that beauty in "The Jem Garden"
(what kind of fertilizer you using to grow all these Jems?)

Re: Question about JEM77BRMR

The reason they don't have a vine is becuase Vai's doesn't have a vine. They thought people would be sending them to SIMS for led's.

Thats a damned good post in comparison. I agree about the vine inlay as well. But i argue they would have sold that many more if it had the led's and a sustainer!

Re: Question about JEM77BRMR

Thanks for the review! I'm particularly interested to hear about the thinner neck profile.
