Right I was looking about and I came accross the top pic. Is this a newer model??? As the Jembrmr that I have seen have the matching pickgaurd like the 2nd pic.

Re: Question about JEM77BRMR

seems like someone forgot to peel off the plastic film underneath the pickguard.

Re: Question about JEM77BRMR

The morons at the local distributor rip it off and leave bits of film showing under the screws, thats on the brmr on display... i guess they dont know people tend to like their new stuff to be "as new"...

Cuz it doesn't need it Granted mine's only a month old, but I've been playing the hell out of it and the finish seems fine. If you look VERY close, there's a couple little marks (not scratches) on the pic guard, but is that any different than any other guitar???

And yes, I replaced the dorky knobs with chrome dome knobs!!

No offense to any bald people out there

Hey Jim,

Where did you get the chrome knobs at? I didn't notice those on your guitar.

Don't get the strat knobs (as pictured there) Get the dome (knurled) knobs

Much more practical and better looking as well!

Re: Question about JEM77BRMR

Holy shnikes, that's the best looking BRMR I've ever seen. I love the vine inlay. If they came from Ibanez looking like that, I'd have one.

I'm a proud daddy

Plus I'm tired of people dissing then cuz they are GREAT guitars! Best tone out of ALL the Jems I own!

Hopefully you folks don't mind me showing her??

If so, it'll go into hiding never to be seen again
