Question about the Jem 77FP Necks...

Hi all...I read somewhere that the neck size changed on the floral over the years. Does anyone know if it got wider or narrower? I want to get a floral but I want the slimmest (i.e.-closest to the wizard) neck possible. Does anyone know roughly what yaer of the 77FP that would be?

well acording to the site it doesnt say wether or not it was changed, but i dont think it was, just like how the neck wasnt changed to an AANJ. anyways im sure glen or rich, or someone with a "knowledge" of the JEM will post a definite answer.

It's been my experience to say that the earlier JEM necks tended to feel a little thicker, especially soe of the early JEM777 necks. I don't recall that the actual specifications of the necks actually changed, but I'd look for a later year model anticipating that that would have a slimmer neck.

I'm pretty sute they haven't changed. I have a 88 and a 91 and to me they play / feel identical to the 2003 (15th)

Hmm...now where's that FP with the AANJ

....same as JJEMMER777, I've played old ones (88-93) a new ones (my beloved 03') and didn't notice any difference on the neck. In the case it exists I agree with jono that maybe it could be thicker on the older ones, not much IMO.
Also waiting for an AANJ FP!!!

The new ones didn't feel as nice as the old ones.

Maybe it was just setup though.
