Rare Vai´s prototype at Hard Rock Cafe

A friend traveled to London this summer. He visited the Hard Rock Cafe and saw this guitar given from Steve: .
Is that an old prototype? Have you seen him using that axe?

Looks like an RG with a GMC or VBK neck. How come the trem is lopsided? Cool pic.

Hey I've seen that... It was actually in the hard rock shop across the street from the restaurant. Good to see that they haven't fixed the trem yet ;-)

They've also got a despagni Jem double neck and a satriani with graphics amongst other cool things...

Re: Rare Vai´s prototype at Hard Rock Cafe

That really makes me wonder, steve probably wouldn't give them a guitar fallin apart like that to display, and it doens't usually fall apart without bein touched, so how did that come off?

Re: Rare Vai´s prototype at Hard Rock Cafe

Okay i see now those things arent under glass so people have walked up and stolen the knobs off of them. How sad, makes me wonder if the trem bars were on tehm when they were donated too.......so sad to see instruments like that get abused, put em under glass by god!
