Red Lace arrives

you guys seen mike keanelly's picking style??? that fast, pumping "across the strings" alternate picking technique that looks very agressive?

well considering that red lace was mainly mike's guitar when he needed a trem equipped one (look at the video of "the animal" performed live on the vai site and watch keneally on red lace with vai on evo and you'll see what i'm talking about). man... so you got a guitar personally scratched up by keneally!! wow!!! and by vai too!!

*envy consumes all on the site*

Red Lace arrives

cool. Just checked out that video, thanks for the pointer!
I definitely agree that the scratches add to the guitars.

Roland, you must have one hell of a bank account! Congratulations on both Neville and Red Lace. I actually thought about bidding on Neville, but the WIFE scorned me with a look that left me smoking in my shoes! Oh well, what was I supposed to do huh? So, did any of that famous Vai voodoo rub off on you yet? Rock on! --rvj

I'll try and take some pictures when I get chance. There are still pictures up at the Ernie Ball site too:

I've actually been thinking about selling Red Lace, since I've been scaling back my guitar collection. Not sure if I should put it up on evil-bay or do something else with it. I've threatened to let Rich pimp it for me
