replacing an edg/lopro trem with the edge pro


this is my first time posting a messega and i really need help here i live in the mideast and own a jem7vwh 2001 model with the edge/lopro trem. out here i cannot find out if i can replace it with the new edge pro trem. my edge/lopro is rusted out and needs to be changed from all the giggin and abuse ive caused it. can i replace it with the new edge pro? or do i have to get the loproedge trem again? i like the new system w the edge pro it seem very practicle.. please help me out here, cause i have to order this trem and i want to be sure

Not going to work. Routing is different, post positions are shifted.

You would have to completely fill your rount and holes for the posts and re rout and drill, not worth the money it would cost, it would also devalue your guitar quite a bit.

Get a new/used Edge/LowPro and just drop it in. Quick, easy. :-)
