Reviews between 7v and 77v

Hello guys, I've been looking around to find myself a used dbk, but trying to get a good deal on it isn't so easy. I have been saving my money for a while now and have a little above 1k to spend. Currently, I have ephiphone les paul but 've been wanting a Jem for a whiiile now. After reading specs from Ibanez site, I "think" 77v is a bit like 7dbk(not sure thats why I need help from you guys XD). What do you guys think between 7v and 77v? Is it worth it to save some more money to get77v instead of 7dbk? Lastly, 7dbk vs 77v what are the differences? (experience) I have not had a chance to play dbk nor 77v Thanks a lot in advance!

Re: Reviews between 7v and 77v

Well, I have both a 2005 7Vwh and a 2007 77V, and I think they are both fantastic and have the same exact necks and feel. Switching between them is so effortless, which is great. But I've never played a 7dbk, so I don't know what to say on that one. I'd strongly recommend the 7V and the 77V, and I have no preference between the two, but then again, they are the only Jems I have. No experience with the 7dbk, and I'd imagine the neck is different. I guess it probably comes down to what you want in the looks department, and any Jem would
probably be an excellent player. Since the 77V is a newer model, and the 7Vwh is still a top seller, the 7dbk would be cheaper to attain, for sure. Sorry to ramble,,,,,I can't really help on this one.
