Although it's been discussed many times, I believe it is a 27" scale. I believe it's a standard UV body rather than like a 1077XL, to increase the scale length of course you must make the neck longer, if you're not moving the bridge then you have to add extra frets in order to fit the neck pocket.
The cool thing with the 2 extra frets, is even though it's tuned a full step lower, you can still hit a high E at the same pitch as a 24th fret E so you're not losing any part of the scale like you would be by downtuning a regular 24
fret guitar.
