Sharing pictures of my newly hung Jems

I wanted to share my newest home improvement project with people that I knew would enjoy it.

I just bought the non-jem the other day to take on my holiday trip. After trying to figure how to take one of my jems on a plane I opted to buy a cheap Ibanez and bring that. Anyhow, shortly after arriving home I realized I didn't have anymore floor space for more cases or stands. Now they are handy, nice to look at, and safe from my 5 year old.

My Vwh is a 2000, the FP I bought from Rich in 2002 or so - it was one of those that was made later on after production had ceased but before the reissue(I think), and the LNG is #12.

I think they look pretty good, just need a swirl to fill out the wall ...

Re: Sharing pictures of my newly hung Jems

They look great.
Just an idea i want to pass along to you.

I have a custom guitar being made for me..
and I want it on the wall..but not just a typical straight up and down look.
More like an angle you would see a guitar hanging at the hard rock..etc.

I searched and searched and found a place called "stringswing"
they make a low profile wall hanger (fully adjustable)
that lets you hang the guitar on the wall kind of in the position it would be
if you were playing it.

Im getting mine tomorrow..it wasnt much money at all..like $30
Might be nice to put one on an angle like that in the center..surrounded by
the straight up and down ones.

I LOVE your green jem!!!

Thanks for the compliments. I know what you are talking about - in fact I almost bought one with the plan to hang the LNG over the others, but the $30 price tag was too much for me. I figured if I really liked them up on the wall I could always add one later. The ones I have are String Swing too. They are rock solid too - but I did drive them into wall studs instead of using the dry wall screws included.

I almost bought a GMC last year from rich, but held off and found the LNG for sale. My dream would be to find a super nice PMC, but I'm holding my breath that I'll find one or that I'll be able to afford it.

Thanks. It is a SA260 FMAMB something or other (I'm at work or I'd look). I picked it up at my local guitar shop for $350 this week. It plays really well all things considered. I'm amazed at how light it is, pickups sound pretty good and the neck has the ibanez feel that I'm use too.
