Should I Buy It?

I am planning to buy an Ibanez JEM555 for playing Steve Vai stuff. Do you guys think its worth it? If not, what would be in this price range... Thanks

Many here will say get a used 550 instead But I think the jem 555 isn't really that bad as many have claim

i would just get a RG550 or RG570,

while a JEM555 might not be all that bad a good RG is always gonna be a better choice in both price and playability

That's what most people, including myself, would advise.

But I think the hook for you, and alot of people, is the monkey grip and vine inlay....right?

If that's not the case then go with a used RG550 without further hesitation.
