Snow Induced Jem Build.
I bought a Chriss Woods body from some one on here years ago (cant remember who) .It was sold as having a small raised piece that would probably glue down but when I got it I found it had loads of problems. It spent a few years with Jaden Rose but he didn't fancy tackling it so back it came last year.
Anyways I got bored ****less today not being able to go to work because of the snow and ice so I hunted around for the fret board and inlays I got from Ai guitars a couple of years ago and knocked a mahogany and maple neck up for it in my freezing garage and fixed the probs with the body.
Here are the pics so far.A bit of true oil revealed a Bengal Tiger.

Very tasty. Such a pity that the top of the body didn't extend to the front arm rest contour. Hopefully you may get a few more days snowed in so that you may be able to finish it

Zoot, how come you might whip up a new guitar in the same way I might whip up a cup of tea and a round of jam on toast?!?!?!?
Not a fan of those sorts of plywood, sorry, "laminate" bodies
(we used to spend time trying to find one piece bodies when I were a lad) but I LOVE the neck.

I just fix my belt sander in the vice to remove the surplus then sandpaper to shape and finish.
