Well, I know how you guys love pics, so I took a few new shots of my BFP neck on the new 550 I got, and after I put in the 2 new pickups, the thing looks sick, just check it for yourself...oh, and I'm not sure if Jem77MVBKL is right, I'm not totally adept on ibanez's prefix's. (Maple Vine BlacK Lefty?!?)

oh, FYI, probably not 56k friendly..

Yeah, when I have the money, I'll send it to SCS to redone and grip'd. I could have a new body made too by Chris Woods, but I want to stay true to Ibanez authenticity.

I'm afraid to! No really, I am. The neck has never had any string tension whatsoever, so I don't know whats going to happen, or if i'm going to have to really tweek the hell out of the truss rod or what not, and I hate messin' with it. I know I'm just going to have to bite the bullet and do it anyways though...

and once its done, I will be sending pics to Ibby, trust me...

You'll have to eventually.... even if a tech does it, he'll need full tension on it to set the action and check for some relief. You can string her and if it looks like she's getting too much relief just loosen the strings. Then either adjust her or take her to a tech.

Don't worry, that neck is made to withstand tension. It will be alright. Maybe you'll have to tweak a little, yes...

I'd be dying to hear her scream dude, so string THAT BABY UP MAN!!!! :-D

Anyone ever tell you guys that your all really pushy

here ya go, however shes not tuned up or anything, I'm just letting the neck adjust to having tension on it, probably for the next 12 to 24 hours, I figure baby steps is the way to go on something like this.
