Re: someone help me bring this auction down

he got clever too, taking pics at certian angles not to expose some stuff.

however the oversized monkey grip, gold knobs. and the serial number gave it away.

Re: someone help me bring this auction down

Just inform the fools that bid on it on Evilbay & if they still buy the guitar after that, at least you did your best bro, but if this dude is a ripoff do all you can to let people know about it ok.

Cheers!- Jake.

Re: someone help me bring this auction down

that JEM really does looks fake. the pickguard doesn't align properly with the body and it looks fishy. but whoever did the vineinlays did a pretty good job..

Re: someone help me bring this auction down

The 2006 Jem has an edge pro with pop in arm. This is not even an edge and has a screw on Schaller style arm. Truss rod cover is way wrong. Sadly i am seeing a lot of fake Jems with this cover on them. Any one else notice that? AANJ is way way wrong and every ibanez i have ever seen had black neck bolts and ferrelles. No scallop and i believe in 2006 the necks still have scalloped 21-24. I declare it a genuine and unadulterated FAKE.

Then it would be silly of him to pay US$910 for a fake JEM.

Re: someone help me bring this auction down

I sent messages to most of the bidders and also a nasty one to the seller.

Re: someone help me bring this auction down

There are too many fake Jems on the bay. But as is said for many similar threads here, what can **** do? - a drop in the ocean

All ****ers should be wary about a high value item - you might save a few £/$ but not 50% or something. Always remember you get what you pay for. In this case you certainly don't get a real Jem for $910
