Steve just got a new 'revolutionary' Jem...
Steve just posted this on Twitter:
www.twitter.com/stevevai
"Just got a git from Ibanez that has something on it we have been working on for 3 years. I believe it's a... revolutionary design. Yup!"
What do you think it is? My guesses are:
Production model with stock True Temperament frets.
or
That new bridge he was rumoured to be thinking about using a few years ago

I say it's a graphic with a minuteman or Che Guevara or '1776' or something like that.

As much as us poor teenage Vai fans would love this, it's not gonna happen; but I'd gladly eat my words if it did. Man, I would love to own a JEM, but I gotta save up for important things....say, college? Senior year :P
EDIT: Maybe it's a new color? That would certainly be revolutionary.

Yup, its going to be the new trem design where the springs pull in the same plane but in the opposite direction to the strings. I hope it looks better then the protos weve seen and is as stable as an edge/lo-pro... looking forward to it!
