steve vai 7 string desert yellow

hi folks,whilst watching the making of whitesnake slip of the tounge video there was a clip of steve vai in his studio playing a desert yellow 7 string,it was exactly the same as the 6 string colour scheme ie pink pups green knobs,but had rosewood finger board.anyone seen him use this guitar before ??? ive never seen a dy 7 string before.

There was a thread about it some time ago (if it's the same guitar you're talking about). It was being sold on the bay at the time. I think it was a prototype. The headstock said JEM, not Universe.

yeah man thats the 1 im talking about.first time ive seen it,had a feeling some sharp eyed vai fanatic would have seen it first lol.
