hello,

I noticed on a few videos and pics that the plastic plaque at the back of the guitar was removed.

why is that?

is it purely because it is convenient for the tech to access the trem cavity and make adjustements on the fly?

does it improved the sustain or the sound of the guitar?

You mean the trem cover? If it is most prolly cos it's easier for his guitar tech to set it up.

the guitar has tissue in it to prevent spring noises and stuff like that plus easy acces for set up

heard of a technique to prevent spring noises: use a pastic tube (like he one used for aquariums.

cut it to the size of the spring and nail it in.

never tried but heard there is less springs noise that way
