Re: Swriling process documented

yeah, just saw the GMC swirling vid.
First of all, nice stuff.
Anyway, i really dont dig the 'weak grey' color.
ATD GMC swirls has most of the time, the darkest black paint possible.
The green layer under the swirl is something that makes it really easy if something went wrong.
But ATD GMC has white layer under the GMC swirl, and so obviously sometimes it shows 'holes' on the swirl, revealing/showing white UNswirled parts. And it's a HARD/dificult way to do the swirling process properly.

I'd love to see it finished/polished and hi-res pics.

Re: Swriling process documented

II love it, no offense to the swirlers here but thats got to burn your ass someone showing how its done.. Swirling and Relics are two of the most shrouded mods out there. Its like some secret society.

Im glad this is coming to light.

Awesome thread.

Re: Swriling process documented

Doing a good swirl is as much of an art as it is a science. Making good swirls can take some practice. Some folks can do it really well with little practice and others take some time to get it right.

It's just like painting a guitar. You can know exactly how to do it but to know how to do it well takes practice and time.

Yeah, thanx for clarifying it.
Where do you get Tony's pictures?
Is that GMC showed on pic yours? It's beautiful!

Anyway, i'm really looking forward to see the ACTUAL GMC from de vid, finished and polished. That vid makes it LOOKS sooo easy to swirl. Obviously it is NOT THAT EASY! Demand lots of pratise and research.
Have saw other pics of a PAW swirl in a Yamaha RGX, and i really love it.
Dont dig the water bubles inside the swirl and all imperfection, but IF it's cleared and polished properly, it's gonna rock!!!
Tony, keep it up!!!
