It is supposed to be the best luthiers at Fujigen that are doing these guitars.

Nope. It's business 101. There is no difference between pre and post J-Craft designated guitars (besides the 5-piece neck, case and the lack of a scarf joint). The people who make the Prestiges are no different than the people who've done them in previous years. The only other divison in Fujigen that makes Ibanezes would be the J-Customs.

Lol....sorry, computer problems Ya didn' give me enough time, big boy

What I said was that the J-Custom quality of (fret end finishing / radiusing is generally better nowadays than the pre J-C designation (or was?) But aparently according to Rich, in the last year or so the quality has dropped off a bit! (bummer)

He would know

Well I knew you played left field, but we're talking about J CRAFT here, not J CUSTOM

When did they start putting in the trem stabiliser thing in the back of the spring cavity at the back of the guitar?

not true. i just brought home a mint '06 SZ4020ntf Prestige guitar and neither the case or the guitar has the "Team J-Craft" logo. it came in the "Team J-Craft" case (a little darker red/burgundy than my TJC badged case for my RGA121 which actually looks pink).
the "J" must be Japan and my Prestige is not MIJ but MIK (but still an awesome piece of work!!! truley stunning!!).

Re: team j-craft ibanez jems

The J in 'J-Craft' obviously stands for Japan so a Korean made 'Prestige' isn't going to have any Team J-Craft insignia on it anywhere.
