well i opened the page and saw the pink and green pickup photoshops and i thought hell yeah thats cool. then i saw the real pictures.... its ok, but im not buying one, as i wasnt planning on buying anything anyway, so its no big loss.

I might have to buy a 565 or anything shocking pink 777 if they did those, though. and as long as they werent limited aka expensive.

The price is a little jacked!!!! You can get a PRS with a 10-topped maple cap and real shell fretboard inlays for a little less. Come on!!!!! Who is raping us, Vai or Ibanez? I almost think that they wait so long to put out cool models or new models so they can raise the price thinking we are all jumping on them because we have been deprived for so long.

Also, because I work in the business, I know the mark-up on this stuff. Ibanez is making a killing, or Vai!

+ 1, i wish colored pops too, and the flower design oups !!! why didn't ibanez try some japanese floral graph i mean ancient japanese flower finish or cherry tree flowers, i don't know you guys but here again... a black body one.

Is there anyone with graphic computer talents who could make/modify this new jem with a mapple neck but without chang the tree of life ?

I think it would be nice and very similar to the blue FP.

everyone hates it now but it'll be funny when vai's next signature monster comes out and these will go for millions and we'll have hardcore ibanez diehards screaming for their old-style neck joints, black knobs and black, red and white floral patterns.

euhhhhhh, you really sure of that ? any kind of true fans love the beginnings of an history.... and the jem were full of colors at their beginning. in my opinion

O.k. after seeing multiple pics of the new floral JEM. I'll have to say, I hate it. That guitar looks like an abortion of bad ideas. I think one reason this guitar sucks is the fact that Universe reissue took all the hype. I think Ibanez probably spent most of their time with the new Universe, and this is like the "B side" to the Universe.

And the price being over $3k?? yeah that spells "extra FAIL" as well. Yeah it's a JEM and yeah it's a Floral. But really? black pick-ups and chrome hardware?? At least they could have used Black hardware to match the rest of the black.

This guitar is "F'ing Cheesy"....

Memo to Ibanez:

hit eject now, because this has crash and burn all over it in my book.

I've never been a fan of the Floral Jems and looks like I never will.
