The 2010 Flower JEM

Looks like the new floral to me, and i'm not really digging it so much to be honest. Hopefully it will look better once we can see the whole thing (and maybe the patterns will change as the old ones did since they were cut from different parts of the fabric).

Oh and apparently this group was there together to record a cover of Stairway to Heaven for Mary J. Blige's upcoming album, which I believe will be out in March.

maybe it's the photo but that neck joint doesn't look like the old square one to me, and also the monkey grip is strange

+1, to me the photo isn't large enough to show the type of heel joint.

Monkey grip looks to be normal though.

1) The square neck joint has been seen on JEMs for years so it's not like the programmes for the CNC don't exist

2) The guitar in the photo isn't a reissue either, unless I've missed one somwhere along the way

3) All the current JEMs are AANJ, but the reissue swirl universe had a square neck joint...

4) Pablo's latest squeeze has the old neck joint, Satch's guitars have the old neck joint, press a button on a computer and Steve's guitars can have a square neck joint, giving the public what they want = economics 101 success

I'm not saying that this is or isn't the new JEM, I really don't know, but I don't think your logic holds up!

the FP had the old heel for years and it would not surprise me if the new FP had it too.

it's a shame that floral pattern seems based on the hideous previous Vai theme/artwork. Absolutely hate red... but it's a step up from this debacle...

They could've done much more with that design... Locking nuts and fixed "floyed" bridge with fine tuners would have been a good start if they HAD to bring out a 'Jem' with fixed bridge... IMO a Jem should never ever be bland...

Personally I have always dreamt of and hoped to own a JemFP with an AANJ. I never got used to or enjoyed the square NJ of my 77FP...
