i haven't been paying a huge amount of attention but i thought the new 2010 floral jem was supposed to be black, red and white like that one. there has never been a production jem in that finish.

I believe I see a monkey grip and it looks an awefull lot like an Edge. Wasn't there supposed to be a new trem?

What is funny is that the new Jem (IF this really is the new Jem) was first revealed while 99% of Jemsite members were fast asleep in their beds.

Oh good, there's a monkey grip (I was worried for a minute there XD).

I'm not sure if he specifically stated that it was a new trem, but maybe a "revolutionary" new feature in/on the trem. Since we have no clue what that feature is, we can't spot it in the photo

true or not this looks like the same guitar he has the real illusions flower pattern on that was posted here

but with some color change. biggest change of all is the black as the base color instead of a blueish/white, also the pinks have been changed to red, i assume the red goes better with the black and pink looked better with white. just my assumptions.

but at this point we are all still just guessing untill we hear from steve or ibanez. but still cool pic.

I had a close up look in photoshop, and I cant really see a monkey grip at all.

The trem looks like an original Edge and im kinda liking the guitar whatever it is...

I zoomed up close in my browser and thought I could see an absence of color around where a monkey grip should be.

But honestly, I would be 100x more likely to buy a new JEM if it didn't have a monkey grip. :S
