Setup was fine - although I had to have a play around for a bit of fun :-)
But on the whole the setup was very good considering it had only been done at the factory.
Truss rod didn't need adjusting at all
Intonation was good,
I just played around with the claw springs and the bridge height and set the action a tad higher.
(just for my own style of playing as I find if the action is low I can't quite get enough of my tone/character into vibratos and bends).
The pictures are coming I promise.........
Soon.
I think you guys will LOVE the swirl, I've looked at the ATD (darren Johansens) gallery of DNA's and out of those on there i definately think it is one of the best swirl jobs. (I'm not being biased honest :mc: )
It has a lot of darker reds yellows and greens especially around the lions claw and around the 5 way toggle.
No huge patches of one or two colours and no particular directions or shapes in the swirl. (ie huge zig zags and streaks). Its just very well textured going from completely crazy to almost cloud like.
Glen - How can you not want a dna???
Just play it in the sunset and see it GLOW the inlays are especially good in the dark as they are very luminous
