The IbanED!

Well after all MY nit-picking I finally recieved my IbanED from John (the legacy) The guitar sounds and play's fantastic! He made it into the guitar I wanted and not just something for him to build and me to buy. I went with///

Silver Maple Body
Hard Rock Maple Neck (unfinished!!)
6105 Fret Wire
Ibanez Edge Trem (WITH locking studs!)
Seymour Duncan Screamin Demon pup
Custom painted like Ed's 5150 guitar

The body is cut exactally like a Jem (but with one pup) and the neck is shaped sort of like a Wizard (DBK) it'd hard to describe, but it plays really fast and feels great. It came set-up like no other Jem Iv'e gotten before and the action is perfect. Also the tone from the wood & pup combo is something Iv'e never heard before and that's a good thing. I don't want to sound like a salesman, but it is well WORTH the grand that I paid for it!! Is it an Ibanez JEM??? NO! It's a CUSTOM built guitar for ME that you can't get in some Guitar Center......................(I,ll be posting picks over the weekend)

Re: The IbanED!

It depends on what the customer wants? They can have the same or different. I'm starting to design the black and white stripe one too.

It's whatever the customer wants.

better be careful of EVH's lawyers.

Making your own isn't a problem i guess..
but selling his trademarked design is.

They are being real @ssholes about it..shutting down sites, going after a single person selling a single EVH paintjob guitar on e--bay..etc.

Re: The IbanED!

Those are my own

Besides, you're not buying the design from me. You're buying a really expensive set of guitar strings, that come with a FREE guitar.
