The JEM90HAM Design

hi,

just a question far modder and ibanez jem90ham owners.
did anyone try to reproduce the very particular design of the jem90ham on a guitar project ? how ibanez industry realised that 3D design, does anyone knows that ? i think it's possible to do it on a naked sanded jem body but i don't know how ? it looks that they "throw" something on it to make like cream or glue.

does anyone on this forum who try to make it ?

thanks for your answers guys, caus i think it would be a great project. i remember some team j craft body ( silver grey maybe ) wich are similar ?

The JEM7DBK is the same, but in black. It looks the same as using "knock-down" on dry-wall.

The DBK and 90th aren't quite the same.

The 90th has it's pattern "eaten" into the finish (I think by sandblasting with a template), whereas the "bobble" finish on teh DBK is as I understand it a part of the paint process itself.

It's a great looking finished. I think the idea for it was based on the finish of the JCRG Metal.

the rg metal is the best!and thats a metal plated guitarbody and sandblasted and then oxidated and polished again.you must see it in real life...or a get a little impression on www.ibanez87.com

ofcourse nuno we all love this site.i love the 18+ the most.
if we lived next to eachother you could photograph a few of my guitars.
and when are you do pedals/amps/girls.....i gues everything should be fantastic!
