Then I placed a bid of 1.19, since he stated it was an auction, the dude replied he had an offer of US$ 600, and I politely replied "600 on RG 550...go for it" then a trainwreck of messages from the guy showed up
he claimed that the neck was a jem neck, so I told him:
"dude, that neck is a RG neck, there's no such thing as Jem neck in maple with dots. I'm not saying your guitar ain't worth the price you're asking, the pickups are really great, but overall it's a still a frigging RG series."
then he posted saying he sold the RG 550 for US$ 1200, I told him he was lucky for selling a RG 550 with a fake neck (he said it was built by a luthier in UK, but he slapped a Ibanez logo on the headstock) and I said:
"lucky you that sold a RG with a fake neck (yep, fake since it's not made by ibanez, f.u.ck whoever built it - if it bears an ibanez logo on it and it was not made by ibanez it's a fake one) Next time try not to scam people around."
after that "fake neck" remark he proceed to call me names, just for the fact I was trying to warn the community users.
even thou he insulted me and said that I didn't have any knowledge on guitars and gear, I invited him to check my orkut profile, where he could check pics of parts of my gear, then he mocked me and said my gear was s.h.i.t. (wtf ? 7 guitars, 3 ibz,
Mesa boogie Triaxis, 4x12 marshall cabinet, and lots more = sh.it. ?) he said that he had gear that only in my dreams I could have, he claimed he have a Chromeboy and a 54 Fender Strat...then after 5 minutes of checking that dude over the orkut I found that the dude's gear consisted of : A js1200, a small marshall combo(prob a 30 watt), a cheapo SG copy and a Zoom pedalboard.
