It looks real, I'm pretty sure it is, but I know that JEMs are counterfeited so unbelievably much, and that seems a rather low asking price for something with it's credentials.

Looks legit to me man. Although if you're really considering buying i'd see if you can get him to knock down the price a little. That finish checking is mighty ugly up close.

yeah, i saw that... Still, in any condition, I'd say the sentimental and pseudo-historical value would make it worth over $2500 to anyone.


The trem looks a tad strange to me, too... like there is some sort of clearcoat on it or something. It's in remarkably good condition for a 20 year old guitar, especially when the finish on the body is as beat as it it.
