Universe Best Wood


hey guys, im looking at having a UV body made what sort of wood would you recomend??

I'd say Ash, because it's nicer for lower sounds.

If you can get it, Korina is a lovely wood. Great sound and a really nice bare swirl which would highlight a good paint job well.

If the above suggestions are to expensive then go for a good old basswood UV body .

My Ash UV sounds lovely with a tone zone in the bridge.

I'd go with a mix of Alder, purpleheart, and black walnut ;-)
