universe pickup covers

what are your views of replacing the pickup covers on breed II'S? is it safe? or , should i just keep the factory covers, as improperly installed ones may mess up the pickup. N E ideas?

Simple, only the single coil on 90' UV's are actually "covers".

oh...so you cant even replace the tops of breeds after all?(what makes the color; for the less imaginative)

The bobbin itself is that color.
