Universe Stock Pickups: Do you like the Blaze Pickup?

Just a little poll to see what people think.

I personally dont like the Blaze in the bridge at all and it will be soon replaced whenever I get around to it. The neck is alot better but it will be getting replaced as well.. I just dont care for the sound of them especially the bridge I hate it.

Whats your opinion?

I'm not particularly crazy about the blazes in my UV. I'm stuck in between getting rid of the UV or not. If I decide to keep it, i'll change the pups for sure.

i like all 3. espessially the neck but the bridge i think it sounds great espeacially on fast picking and sweeping, compared to toher bridge pus
,but my dad feels the same about the bridge that it doesnt have a full enough sound but it works for me

Never used a Blaze in the bridge, but I have a Blaze in the neck of my RG7620 and think it sounds just great there. I'm sure the X2N-7 I have in the bridge walks all over a Blaze in terms of output in any event.

well im going to be replacing mine with a ToneZone7 in the Bridge and a PAF7 in the neck.. Im getting them from a trade im doing.. So we shall see as they say

They seem fine to me - very different to PAF Pros, which I found surprising at first

To each his own, I love the Blaze bridge and always have, the neck Blaze is also my favorite neck pickup.

I love Blaze pups in my UV. Am I the only one bothered by the incorrect word usage in the poll ? (i.e. "I like them, there excellent pickups " Should read "I like them, THEY'RE excellent pickups" The word "there" indicates a place and should not be used like it's used in the poll in 3 of the 4 choices. Sorry , but that obviously bothered me enough to say something.) Anyhoo, Blaze pups kick ass !

I hate them. Total MUD sound. I actually compared Blaze and TZ side by side. TZ has a tight chugging sound and could handle low end really well.

Good decision. But get a AN7 in the neck. you cannot go wrong with TZ-AN combo in a basswood guitar.

I've had the Evo7 (bridge) and PAF7 (neck) combination (with a tom anderson single in the middle) in my UV for years.

I remember when i first got my UV and I thought the Blaze 2s were 'rock'. They were good for what they were, but they lacked the versatility i needed for my personal needs.

I'll give ya $10 to make 'there' 'their' in your poll. that drives me nuts.
