Hey guys. I saw a used Jem7vwh today at Guitar Center. I played the guitar and it played very nice, and the guitar had no dings, dents, or scratches I could see. It was $1399, which seemed like a good deal to me, but I want your guys' opinions. Also, I'm a little worried for a guitar in this nice of shape to be fake maybe,I mean I see no idea why you would sell this guitar to Guitar Center. Just a little worried especially with all those Chibanezes everywhere. Well thanks guys!

Well dude, you havent told us ANYTHING about it except the price and condition. That doesn't really mean anything. I've gotten 2000 dollar guitars for 400-500 bucks in mint condition in the past. If you want help determining if its fake, try gettin' us a serial # and/or pics...

Well actually, I didn't plan on bringing a camera to Guitar Center to take pictures of guitars. Besides, they would probably think thats a little strange. But anyways, I imagine there's a difference in sound with a Chibanez compared to a REAL Jem. The guitar sounded pretty good, but I've never tried another Jem before so I have nothing to compare it to.

Well, I'm sure it'd be easy enough to at least jot down the serial # on a slip of paper. And really, do you care if some shmo at Guitar Center thinks you're a little wierd for taking a picture of a guitar there? Would you rather buy a guitar for $1399 and find out later that it's fake? What do you expect us to tell you about the guitars authenticity when you tell us NOTHING about the guitar except that you thought it played well?

And actually...doesn't Guitar Center have a return policy? Buy the guitar, take it home, take some pics of the usual areas that help us folks determine if its a fake (headstock, serial #, etc). Then if people on here tell you it's fake, simply return it. Shouldn't be a problem right?
