Vai's Grammy Jem - PIA - mass produced someday?

Hey all,

I've heard bits and pieces of rumors throughout this website and others, so I thought I'd try to get all the info I could in one place.

Vai's VWH from the Grammy's....with piezo, chrome hardware, and sustainer (I think at least)... I'm wondering if this will ever become a production model and be available for us all to add to our collection.

Anyone heard anything?

A production PIA? As cool as it would be, it's not likely we'll see one. You're better off buying a VWH and customizing it....just like SSV did.

I'm surprised no one here has put a sustainer in a VWH yet (that I remember!), considering many people have paid way more than the cost of a fernandes unit in customs swirls.
