Not sure if that is a serious remark - but if it is - read the topic. "Watch Darren Swirl". Why would we want to watch the first 6:30 to get to the swirl, which is what the topic is about, when we can start at the swirl.

If the topic were "20th Anniversary Universe Video" then it should be started from the beginning.

If you guys know each other, and are being sarcastic - then ignore my comment. Otherwise, if your just being a pain - keep it to yourself.

Or as the saying goes "If you don't have anything nice to say - don't say it at all!"

Not to split hairs, but the result of his improved technique is that the colors become something very different from the originals. The greens are more aqua rather than neon green, and the reds are darker. He may have refined his technique, but the results don't look like the guitars from 1990-era photos. And looking at the video, I see far less yellow in Darren's mix.

I can assure you, they are. And since there is nothing red in an ATD, you're looking more at differences in camera color reproduction. From all the ones I've seen, they're very reminiscent of the pics of the original run in progress he used to have on his site.

Wouldn't be the first time an Ibanez photo failed to resemble the actual product.

Their photos of Jewel Blue never look like the actual Jewel Blue. I have a JB PGM reissue and a JB Mikro and they're both much darker than the photos. Disappointingly so, in fact. I look forward to seeing the UV77REs in person in the next few weeks - Sam Ash in NYC says theirs will be in soon.

6/6 is the official release date. Any that make it to stores before then are made to sign a waiver they will not allow the guitar to leave the store until 6/6, if it's sold or not, nobody gets their guitar until 6/6.
