Weird thing I noticed...
On my 7VWH, when I have the switch in the middle position (position 3) the whammy bar hits it when you swing it around. Anyone else notice this?

I never noticed that specifically, but I always thought than the bar sat too close to the body with an Edge/lo pro. The bar of an OFR, say, is much higher up.

LOL, JEMavenger, that's true. The bar of the Ibanez tremolos is closer to the body, like kangaroo said.
Another interesting thing: If I don't set the fine tuners of my RG570's EDGE lower (closer to the bridge) than usual, the bar will ocasionally hit them, sometimes causing them to fall
. But that's not a problem after all. I love this guitar.

I did notice that the bar hit the tuners when I was playing a friends' RG520. That was really annoying.

I have the new
Edge Pro trem
. That's not a problem for me, although the bar does come close to the
pickup switch
.

I do hope you mean fine tuners!
I have a lo pro, but it might just be the angle at which it is set.

The bar only hits the fine tuners when you have them *too* far out.

Yeah the one it hit was pretty far out, and yes, it was the fine tuners lol. It's still annoying, and i wish the bar was a little higher off the body.

I don't. It's a lot more comfortable than those regular FR arms. I'd rather have the fine tuners a little closer to the backbox.
