I'd definitely buy one since im a perfectionist especially in music. I wasn't going to buy a jem until after college but if they put those necks on them i might be tempted to get one sooner

A- That is not a new jem
B- Not a chance this will ever be standard. Its a third party mod, its not like this is some new system Ibanez is testing out

Now that I've seen that video, I like a lot more! Just hearing him play...it sounded so pure, and it looked like it played normally. Like you don't have to reteach yourself because of the squiggly frets.

People are quoting that sustainers, LEDs etc aren't on the JEM, but Vai only adds those things to certain guitars. If he makes this modification to ALL his guitars then surely it should become part of the JEM line.

A- That is a new jem.......(rosewood, edge pro, gold has no tarnish, not even a name on it or tape on the side with a name on it)
B- it could be added on just look at Jackson, they use sustainers sometimes now and also Esp uses things like compensator nuts

Jems have had 5 piece necks for several years now. Maybe the body is new, but thats some old neck steve had attached, not a new one from the Ibanez factory

Also, Ibanez does not add sustainers or leds to their guitars, I doubt they will start bending the frets anytime soon
