What finish is this Edge Trem?

i just bought this off the bay. The guy said it was Cosmo Black and in the auction picture it looks black for sure. When I got the trem, it was almost like a faded chrome. Now I have the wrong trem for my project. The seller said there was nothing he could do and the I didn't know anything about ibanez. I told him to send me a partial refund or he was going to get negative. Am I completely wrong?

cosmo black is like a chrome black. Not chrome, not black. It is in between. He is right on as he called out the name so you shouldn't leave neg feedback. This is a common option for Ibanez. I dig it myself

This should clean up ok,you can make it chrome (if you want)by using a mild metal polish such as Mequires wheel polish etc...,it will take the smoked black colour straight off.

I've seen worse than this fix up well.

And I also don't think that you should leave negative feedback. Its not his fault you didn't know what old cosmo black trems look like colorwise... he stated just what it was. Just try to resell it back on the bay again.

it is cosmo black. It comes off very easily and erodes with the acid/salt in the player's skin. Deffo cosmo black

if you look at the FIRST pic where it says floyd rose that is the color of it all around. I wouldnt have bought it if I knew the condition, if you saw the auction you would have known that. Plus I got it very cheap.

people should look and reed very well before they bid.i have seen it a lot.buy something and after they get it they begun to complain, like now,the guy says it is used and incomplete and a little worn,so thats what you get,and for this price you cant expect superb quality.isnt it?its a bargain but not like new.if you leave negative feedback do you really think your right?please come on,after 10years internet bussiness we know how it works isnt it? be reasonable.and have fun with it.or resell it.
