what happened to evo, look here

So what happened to evo, look at the pic below from satriani.com

http://www.satriani.com/gallery/2003_G3/DSCN3840.jpg

It seems like the bridge pup has been replaced, as well as golden hardware is back.

Great photo, but that's definitely not Evo. Look closer, it has a Sustainer - Vai has said he will never put a Sustainer in Evo because you have to cut into the body which changes the sound. Also, Evo is very chipped and scratched, and has a metal speed knob on the volume control. Compare the pics in the All About Evo section of vai.com - Evo has a very noticable chip through to the wood on the bass side cutaway which would be visible in the photo you've posted if it was Evo. The guitar in this photo appears very clean.
It could possibly be Flo II, Steve's backup for Flo. I understand there have been several Flo II's (and Evo II's) but perhaps Mikey can clarify if he reads this.

he seemed to be using the triple neck, evo and flo on the tour

with gold hardware, no sticker and a sustainer it will be flo (or flo 2-the newer version)

Petie is correct! It's FLO II.

EVO III was also taken on this tour.

One of them was given to Yngwie by Steve as a gift after the final show. Yngwie also gave Steve one of his strats

By the way, FLO no longer has the green "konx" tape under the bridge pickup

It'd be interesting to see Yngwie play a Jem live, eh?

Vai.com

He had a black bridge in Evo for a while the last I heard. Evo is cracked too bad that if he put a sustainer in Evo, it would probably kkill the guitar too.
