What happened to the Jem7BDK ?

Hey guys, this is a guitar that I've been saving up for ages to buy someday but suddenly it appears as if ********.com, ***************.com and ******.com list it anymore. Matt's music center does list the guitar but I couldn't even find any on ****. What's the deal ? Has Ibanez discontinued the guitar because it's not even on the Ibanez website. Thanks guys.

I believe it has been discontinued as a guitar that was not very popular.

the JEM7DBK was discontinued with the VSBL this year. If sales were good they'd have raised prices and kept making the DBK ... glen

Maybe they thought that having a very similar guitar at twice the price is not going to look great so it was discontinued.
Stick real DiMarzios in a RG2550 and you'll have the same thing without the black custard finish.

I really love the JEM7BDK, only reason i haven't got one is cause i'm a 7-stringer

The finish on it is great, but if you're looking for it's equivelent, i wouldn't say the new 'Bad Horsie' JEM is far off. It's basically the same in my eyes (probably won't sound the same) but it's got many of the same cosmetic features such as inlays etc~
