Everyone is screaming for a new jem however I feel that a new UNIVERSE IS IN ORDER !!!!!!!! talk about black this has been the only choice for many years. just a heads up also it seems by my calculations and by its appearance in the 1990 catalog that 2010 is the anniversary of the Universe wonder what shade of black that will be, maybe a black on black on black swirl!!!! surely we are not lucky enough for a mc reissue.

I have always loved the S body, and the sound of mahogany, especially with a maple top. The S is almost there... ZR tremolo rocks, we are getting 24-frets... now they just need to update the 7-string model to 24 frets aswell, and I won't be needing any Jem, Universe, RG or anything ever... I'll be all S

Then I can only hope they'll do more set-neck or neck-through S versions (yea, the SAS was a nice start, but why oh why did you not put the ZR on it!?)

As the thread is called "what *I* really want" I'll just say that I have been put off the S-series due to the inclusion of the ZR series!!! I also tend to prefer the sound from a bolt on neck guitar!

Amen - a new Universe would be great please. Please take a nod from the RG20th's, and duplicate the old UV necks - modern 7 necks dont do a thing for me. I dont care if the guitar is black, with a side of black, black stripes, and black polka dots. If its an old UV neckshape, Im in.
