What is the B for in 77BRMR

This may be an obvious question but the first letter after the 7,77,777 bit normaly dipicts the inlays on the fret board then the other letters dipict the finish, ie V for vine and P for pyramid, with a few exceptions in between, ie Jem7BSB,Jem777LNG to name a few.

You would think it may stand for black, but black is normaly BK.

So what does it stand for?

That is the question...

I thought BRMR stood for "Blinding Rock Mirror."

If it refers to the dot inlays, maybe it means "Blue" light inlays, for Steve's version that he uses onstage.

Blinding Rock Mirror sounds good but when you look at the cataloge it says Jem77B RMR, with a space between the B and the RMR, rock mirror is two words with no space.

Take the Jem 7V WH, vine inlay with white body,space between the V and the WH. Two words.

Do you see where Im going with this.

As for the boring dots, well thats a completly differant rant. I own a B RMR and it dose naff me of that they are only cheapo standard dots on it, they could have put some nice mirrored dots on them at least. but what the hell the rest of it makes up for its lacking and you can change them if you want.
