What is the ultimate player JEM?

What JEM would be the best player all in all...If I put the money into a expensive guitar, I want it to be a player, and something im not paranoid to touch, I would think the 7VWH but...I donno...There are sooo many JEMs out there.

OK, SIMON!!!!

Kidding! I can never get tired of looking at her

I think a used 7VWH would be ideal. I wouldn't call it a collector since SO many are produced, plus it's just a kick ass guitar

The VWH seems to be the work-horse of the line. I like Simon's a lot more (what a sweet guitar!), but for price and quality, combined with durability, a used VWH would seem a good choice.

How about a DBK? If you bump it, who's gonna know? BTW, Simon that blue swirl is beyond description. So beautiful.....

I think both the VWH and the DBK are the best players.

Well, I haven't played them all but any Jem you buy at a good value is probably going to make you happy. There's some minor variation in the neck profiles but if you like a Jem77 you'll probably like a Jem777 or Jem7.
That said, there's alot of used VWH's floating around that can be had for a decent price. If I had the option of picking one Jem from a pile of player Jem's my preference would be the 7VWH.
(Note, the "pile" has no GMC's,PMC's,DNA's in it )

Just my 2 cents.

I'm gonna have to go with the VWH on this one... I love my DBK, but it's nowhere near as smooth as my VWH. I've got a fairly broken in UVMC that's almost as smooth... almost....

My vote is on the DBK, FP, VBK, and DNA.

Anything you can get you hands on will work. I love my DBK though.....I need to beat it up a bit to make it comfortable........good bang for the buck.
