What Jem to buy ? - What's your opinion?

Think it's time to go for another JEM. Have one with the vine,
one with the DNA pattern but no one with the pyramids. Could
get a DY. On the other side i could get a VWH. The problem is
the VWH is the better player (i read here often), has AANJ, but looks imho a little boring (white, white,...). The DY has the pyramids but no EVO's, no AANJ, but looks better.
Want to hear your opinions.
(Are pink coloured EVO's available?)

I would say get the VWH just for the simple fact that it is such a nice guitar, but then, I have a DY too, and I love it, but the pickups are ick to me, so I don't use it that often. *I think you can get any dimarzio in pink still, so evo's in pink shouldn't be a problem!

Get a DY! All JEM's play great! The white is dull looking and the gold plating on the hardware will wear. The original colors look like candy - the brighter the better.

If I see one more black guitar I'm gonna puke (even though I just got a UV7BK - 'cause it has the pyramid inlay).

ALL DiMarzio P'ups are available in all colors by special order at no extra charge. *Go to your local music store (after you decide which guitar/colors) and tell them you want an F Spaced Evo Bridge in pink and a neck Evo in pink. *

i special ordered a blue evo for my BFP and a red PAF 7 and EVO-7 for my UV. *takes about 2 weeks.

as for the guitars...if it's a choice between Green, hot pink and yellow - i'd go yellow. *

Between u and me, i think the DY would look cool with black or yellow p'ups, rather than pink.

Get the DSY... *If you switch the pickups it will be a really nice stage guitar, because it looks more outstanding than the VWH, witch actually looks pretty boring...

2 - UV7BK

That's just my two cents....get the VWH or the 777DY....the coolest lookers out there....that yellow is so damn UGLY it's awesome! *I want one! *Ron, sell me yours! *Now! *hehehe

Pyramids and Evo's are not an existing combination so you either have to give up on of them or change the pickups on a model with pyramids.

I'd forget about the pyramids and get a BSB.

I have both the 7VWH and 777DY. Personally, I feel that the 7VWH blows away the DY. I prefer the Evo's over the Paf Pro's, the Ebony over the Maple, and the AANJ over the old style neck joint. I also prefer the Lo-Pro over the Edge that's on my DY. Later DY's did come with the Lo-Pro. The only reason I bought the DY was for the pyramid inlays (which are totally cool) and to try out a maple fretboard. If I ever get my hands on a 90th, I'll sell the DY. --rvj

May be not a bad idea! But if she really looks like Rich has posted it's not my thing,because she's to much like a Fender Strat.
