What neck is the closest to a VWH?

I saw the chart on this site about neck comparisons but really wanted to hear from players who have tried many...

Turns out my hands are pretty much addicted to my vwh neck (thanks Ibanez) but my next one will just be a backup so spending $1400+ on one is just a no can do.

So guys and gals, which neck is the closest to a VWH?

It's a fairly unique profile amongst Ibanez guitars, but a wizard 2 is of similar proportions. You would find an original wizard neck very skinny in comparison.

I'd say the "Ultra" neck feels alot like thw 7vwh neck.

The ultra is a tad narrower (across the fret board) and I think that alters the feel hugely.

I've never encountered another lumpy U-shaped neck like that. I can live with it on my 7VWH but that's about it. The Wizard II neck is round, not a flat U.

RG necks are way too thin. JEM neck matches JPM neck.

Thanks for all the input... I was looking to spend about +/- $1000USD. I played a BSB and it plays (at least to my hands) exactly like my VWH.

Unlike many, scratches, dings and chips don't bother me in the slightest. I just want a guitar that plays real well...

Go for a BSB over a VWH coz those guitars are sweet! VWHs are also but they are much too common, especially with all the EVo and FLO replicas people do.

Yeah but I love my VWH so much. LOL. I am looking for a BSB but they are hard to find. One gent here contacted me and I am waiting for pictures from him. The only issue I may have is that he put a clear coat on it. Not much he said, just enough to protect the finish a bit. I personally love them when they get rubbed off.

If anyone hears of a BSB for sale please give me a yell... I need one bad. Just started a band locally with a vocalist who is a bit of a legend in the area I live. Our first gig is expected to sell out. I need a back up to my VWH bad...

But that VWH neck is sooo sweet, it's difficult to get something else and leave that behind. I like the odd and different myself but that guitar really is special.
