Don't quote me on this but I think it's the single locking version of the TRS that they had in RG2xx up until last year.

Whatever it is, you can bet it is lower quality than the TRS or any derivatives and the best thing to do is to stay well away from that one.

It's a bit sad that there is such a thing as Jem333 in the first place.
Ah well..........

Yeah. Silly idea. Neways, i agree with dex, it's the single lock trem-not just on the RG2xx, but the legendary 1xx aswell! Peice of pant.

I beleive its actually the double locking version of the 250 deluxe trem which I "HAVE" used, and is far superior to the trs. A little more like an original floyd, with better flutter. The single locking one was a full blown pos trs

I heard a rumour a few weeks ago that Ibanez weren't shipping so many guitars at present as they are about to release a new trem-system that will blow the pants off everything around at the moment.

This came from one of the techs at a major store in the UK..........could this be that.......?

I'm just gutted that this model has been released......it wouldn't be so bad is each of the different numbers represented a different type of Jem - but were of equal quality.....the same way that BMW do with 3,5 & 7 series etc. Each car is different and aimed at different markets........but not falling short / cutting corners with build quality / parts used etc.........

Then again, I suppose the original Jem idea was similar......7,77,777? Confused - you will be!!

hey i like the sound of that rumor! i wonder what it will be like? i hope its the size of the TRS i was going to get mying replaced with a OFR but now i think i will wait a bit, plus its staying in tune for the moment. man but what could be better than the lo-pro edge oh man i want to get my hands on this new bad boy. i wonder if its an improvment from the double edge. i dont know how they could improve that! maybe it installs the strings its self but i think that is still some time away

Maybe it comes with built in perfect pitch, so your swoops and dives are always in tune..

I had a Steinberger with a Trans-trem that did exactly that.........weird to here harmonics go up and down in pitch, those Bad Horsie / EVH harmonics etc sound so cool because the pitch is altered at varying degrees, when it's 'in pitch' it looses some of the effect......

Anyway - I couldn't get any more info on the trem, just hope it's not a crock! Maybe it's a Lo-Pro-Edge-Trans-Trem!!
