I wouldnt know what to say exactly. I have a Jem7v that I've played through both stomp boxes and multi-fx units. I guess it depends on what you're going for. Majority of people would agree with the fact that the evos with the
alder body provide a very good tone. I use stompboxes. You would probably have more layering flexibility with stompboxes.
