Why no love for the Jem 7DBK?

It's not as outrageous as a swirl, SK, or LNG, or as classic as a 7VWH, but IMHO the 7DBK is a sexy a$$ guitar. There doesn't seem to be much love for them here... what the hell, why?

in my view the overal aesthetic doesn't balance. The lumpy finish is at odds with the slick chrome hardware. In my view the body should have had a black stain, or the hardware should have been powdercoated with a brushed aluminium pickguard.

I still think they're great, mind you

Oh, and they have the skinny Wizard neck instead of the slightly meatier JEM neck...

Well, I think it looks pretty cool. After all, I own a 77Vbk, which looks kinda similar.

I had one for a few years, great guitar and looks great too!! Love the screwhead inlays.

Got to say i think the inlays is borring. But it's a good guitar,just not as sexy as other jems. That's just my oppinion.

It's just never really appealed to me. That bumpy finish isn't too great either.

I had one and loved it. Right up to the point that someone decided they needed it more and stole it along with my UV777BK. But I have to say that the 7VWH has always been my favorite.

Oh man I'm sorry to hear about that, GD thief's are garbage low lives...

I do like the 7VWH, but the Chibanez's are making a serious dent in their appeal for me... Although I really like them better with all black hardware like the famous one...
