Wiring Diagram for Jem77FP (87 model)

Hi all,

I need a wiring diagram for Jem77FP (87 model) so I can return it to the original wiring.

That, or the confirmation that it's the same as the 1994 Jem77 that I can get from Ibanez Support.

Perhaps no reply's 'cause they didn't make any Jem77FPs in 87! I looked up the serial number once - it's made in the 80's - I know that much.

The reason I'm after the wiring diagram is to check to see if my wiring was changed by the previous owner.

There is a large volume difference between switching from bridge humbucker to the bridge-middle position. The difference cannot be fixed by alterering the heights of the pickups. It was suggested to me that this is not normal behaviour and that any Ibanez with this pickup configuration should have a relatively even volumume output across all the different positions and only the tone should change.

Can any one confirm some of this info for me? It would help solve some of my recording issues.

As far as I know its always been the same wiring. The parts may have changed, but the pickup coil selections haven't.

I own some JEMs too, but there should not be such a difference between switching from bridge humbucker to the bridge-middle position. Perhaps there´s something wrong with the single-coil in the middle?
