99.9% sure it would work, but in the end, you'd be better off buying a used 7V(WH?).

Like Kirk said, it's pretty much a "yes" on this

The short answer is, "You can't". The JEM necks aren't available to buy anymore, the current UK importer Headstock doesn't allow the sale of JEM necks without the rest of the JEM in accordance wth the world policy on this from Ibanez, unlike FCN which used to allow shops to sell JEM necks as replacements off the shelf.

I know a shop willing to bend the rules alittle as i wanted a 7vwh neck about 6 months ago,and said they could get one in for me (as we all know times change and they may not be able to get one anymore),But being as they are £500ish if memory serves rightly,it's not bloody worth it.My advice is sell your Jem and lo-pro and save the price of a jem7vwh neck and just buy a 7vwh.

If you want me to contact said shop to find out if they'll get one i'll be only o happy to do so,But as Jono said i know no-one is *supposed* to sell any jem necks.

Necks are only available as replacement for broken necks. Under waranty you will loose the original neck, out of waranty you can keep the old neck, but you have to provide info about the jem (serial number etc).
I paid about 400 EUR for a 7v neck. Prepare to wait 6 months or more.

That said, if you go for the look, you're better off doing an inlay job. I found the 555 to feel similar as the 7v neck as far as profile go.
