WTS-What asking price Jem 777sk (87 or 88)

I am wanting to sell my Ibanez Jem 777 SK guitar. I bought this guitar approximatley 20 years ago from a friend who used the guitar in a local band. He; to put it politely, was not very kind to the guitar basically rode it hard and put away wet. The body has nicks and dings but overall the guitar still plays very well. The color has faded some due to the age. I am not sure what asking price I should ask for the guitar. Any help would be appreciated it. I do not play the guitar very much anymore and hate seeing it sit there. Thanks for any help

jem777sk 1987 sure, it got knocked up over the years. Question is what it's worth, and that's a question i can't say anything about. But i'm sure somebody else in here will give you a pointer.

Al, was all the damage done 20 years ago, or has some of this happened more recently in storage or transportation??

Knowing how long the neck has been damaged/stripped of lacquer can help.

All of the damage was done when he had the guitar. I have several other guitars and I can't imagine treating them the way he treated this one. I always wanted one of these guitars when they first came out and when he offered to sell it I jumped on the deal. There is no new damage to this guitar it is in the same shape that I bought it in. I have kept it inside my residence either on a guitar stand or in the hard shell case.

I would say 1200-1500ish with a market like last summer, but not sure what its like now, nice jem though!
